OOR Gets PANO Seal
Continued from page 1
"Submitting to the scrutiny required for
certification under the Standards for Excellence wasn't easy," said OOR
President Ray Thompson, "but was a worthwhile growing process for us.
This seal shows we have taken every step to insure we're serving the
community and operating in an ethical, upright way. We're proud to wear
it. Our work on behalf of the community and corrections exemplifies both
our dedication to our mission and to meeting the highest standards of
ethical practice. We will continue to strive for excellence." |

A Message from the Board Chair...
In January of 2004, we expected
many good things for the
new year - and we got them! Great progress was made on
|
 |
the Emotional Intelligence project, staff and Board turnover were
minimal and a new headquarters building for OOR was found.
The new facility, which is convenient to the Greensburg Correctional
facility, has a substantial building that is easily modified to our
needs. Also available is acreage sufficient to build a second
building that will provide room for growth and a desirable image for
OOR.
I want to recognize the instructors, the support staff and Mr.
Thompson for their consistent day by day efforts and faithful
devotion to this fine organization. I also want to thank my fellow
Board members for their insights, professionalism and kindness
through the past year.
