from a Grateful Graduate...
My name is Mark Kisner. I was in Somerset and I
went through OOR. I want to thank you all for helping me out. If
you see Tim (Weimer) Bill (Miller) and Mike (Barndt) let them
know that I have a good job at AC Railroad Construction Company.
I’m doing good out here. If
it wasn’t for OOR I would be lost.
So thanks.

Mark Kisner left the OOR program
in March 2007. During his time on the Carpentry crew, he
worked at Summer’s Best Two Weeks and Teen Quest.
The two projects provided
training opportunities in a variety of skills: hanging and
finishing dry wall; framing walls; finishing trim and
hanging doors.
At other work sites, he
installed wood paneling; helped to pour and finish concrete
and install siding.
Instructor Bill Miller said
that Kisner “improved throughout the program and applied
himself more each day.”
